Club Rides – Sunday 31st March

Pressed for Time Ride
Markington, Bishop Thornton and Hampsthwaite back via Harrogate, Bilton and Beryl Burton – About 25 miles – see you there! 😀🚲

Team Easy
Team Easy possibly off to Fewston, approx 28 miles and a few hills with a stop at Fewston farm shop. However, if some returning Team Easy members are coming out and don’t fancy the hills I’m sure the rest of us can easily be persuaded to do something more gentle …

Steady Ride
The votes are in! So the overall winner is for a Flat Ride – so I suggest about a 35 mile route taking in Newby Hall, Ripon and Fountains Abbey. Cafe stop at either Spa Gardens or NT @ Fountains.

See you there!

Fast Ride
Hello Faster Group. For this Sunday I suggest a ride out to the Howardian Hills, brew at Terrington https://www.yorkshirelavender.com/ and back via York. flattish 62 miler with a lump in the middle. Here is the Garmin file please load it as this might need some extra eyes on the turns. https://connect.garmin.com/modern/course/23189627. Who’s about?

Club Rides – Sunday 24th March

Pressed for Time Ride
Let’s go to Thorpe Underwood via Little Ribston, Whixley and back via Great Oesburn, Arkendale and Lingerfield. About 26 miles pretty flat. See you 09.30.

Team Easy
Cowthorpe, Walton, Boston Spa, Wetherby, Spofforth. About 27 miles and fairly flat. Everyone welcome to join us. Cafe stop at Wetherby.

Steady Ride
I think the forecast is OK for Sunday – so after last weeks hilly ride to Leeds, I could lead a flat-ish ride of about 40 miles taking in the sights of Boroughbridge, Cundall, Asenby, Melmerby, Wath, Ripon, Bushop Monkton and back home.

Cafe stop would be in Ripon (say Olivers) at about 30 miles unless we come across anything before that, but I dont think we will.

See you there!

Hello Faster Group. The weather is looking good for Sunday. Time to get the climbing legs out. Here is a ride over to Ilkley, up cow & calf, back via Otley, Weeton, Wetherby. Just over 50 miles. Hilly. here is the Garmin link: https://connect.garmin.com/modern/course/23066456

Club Rides – Sunday 17th March

Pressed for Time Ride
If Storm Gareth takes a breather on Sunday I suggest a ride out to Ripon via Bishop Monkton and Littlethorpe back via Ripley and Scotton.,26 miles and a few lumps. See you there. 😀🚲

Team Easy
For Sunday we are proposing a 26 mile ride to Ripon, looks a lot better forecast than today!

Steady Ride
If the weather is OK on Sunday, I could lead a ride out to Roundhay Park via Kirby Overblow and Eccup. Coming back through Thorner, Bramham and Wetherby.

Probably about 40 miles – hilly at the start but gets flatter towards the end.

Cafe stop at Lakeside Cafe Roundhay Park – dont forget the bike lock!

See you there!

Fast group – suggest we do what we posted for last week – still a strong west wind forecast, so a North to South 50miler to Bedale and back looks sensible. cheers, Mark.

Club Rides – Sunday 10th March

Pressed for Time Ride
Last week was somewhat hilly so this week I suggest a flatter ride out to Whixley via Little Ribston and Cowthorpe and back via Thorpe Underwood, Great Ouseburn and Arkendale. I’m away so Linda may lead the way and if it’s cold, windy and soggy it’s a duvet day! Enjoy!

Sundays weather isn’t looking right good – cold, wet and with a strong west wind – so here’s a North to South Fast Group 50miler to Bedale and back, that we can do without stopping. If forecast starts to improve, I’ll post something a bit more interesting! See you Sunday.
