Okay, Team Easy – Sunday could be a bit wet, but if you wanna earn that cake how about a ride up to Fountains?

Hello Faster Group. Wondering about Trapping Hill (cote de Lofthouse 🙂 ) for this Sunday’s ride. 60 miles in all. Big hill @ 25 miles, Brew @ 35 miles in Masham. Steady 25 miles back. Any takers?

Club Rides – Sunday 19th May

Pressed for Time Ride

Team Easy
How about 28 miles, Ribston , Beckwithshaw and Killinghall?

Steady Ride
Steady / Medium – Medium / Steady Group

This week we could do a trip to Thirsk, which should be just short of 50 miles – but pretty flat

There are a few cafe possibilities in Thirsk itself – if all else fails there’s always Greggs!

Medium Ride

Fast Ride
Been on the hills the last few weeks so how about a nice flat 60 miler up to Felixkirk with a brew at Thirsk on the way back? – should be home for 1.30pm latest even with a stop.

Mid week club rides

EASY GROUP evening ride Wednesday 15th May. Meet for a 6pm start at Chapel Street car park, or 6.05pm as we pass Park Grove at Boroughbridge Road. About 20 miles.

Club Rides – Sunday 12th May

Pressed for Time Ride

Team Easy
Sunday looks to be better weather, so how about 30 miles with some hills, Birstwith and Brimham Rocks.

Steady Ride
Flattish 70km loop with a stop in Ripon at 45km?

Medium Ride

Fast Ride
For this weeks faster group ride can I suggest a wee turn up the White Horse, brew stop at glider cafe and then return leg via Aldwark.
Its a nice training ride for the Struggle Dales in a couple of weeks (why do I keep signing up for these things 🤔). Led by Sean.

Pressed for Time Ride
Hi pressed for time
No Amanda- this week suggest Farnham Arkendale Marton Aldborough Boroughbridge Roecliffe and back via Bishop Monkton

Team Easy
Newby Hall and Spa Gardens at Ripon. Looks like we’ll be with the Pressed for time gang for the first few miles.

About 30 miles, not too hilly.

Steady Ride
Steady Group Ride – Easingwold

Thinking of going to Easingwold – but on a slightly different route to usual. Probably 40-45 fairly flat miles.

For a change we could try The Curious Table which gets a good write up.

See you there

Hello Faster Group. here is an idea for Sunday’s ride comprising bits of the 2019 TdY stage 2 & 4 courses with 2 of the climbs and 1 of the sprints, slightly under 50 miles: https://connect.garmin.com/modern/course/23981147.
