As its coming up to Bonfire Night I was thinking of doing a trip to York in view of the subtle link with Guy Fawkes. Probably a stop at the NT cafe at Beningbrough as we havent been to that cafe yet (free tea or coffee if you buy a cake for anyone who has cycled there!).
All in, with a visit to York, and return via Tockwith etc thats going to be just short of 50 flat miles – which would mean we would be late getting back
If the weather is rubbish then we can do something much shorter – possibly no cafe stop if its that bad.
The start time is now 9:30 – which helps!

Better late than never. Bryan’s away in Cumbria so I’m afraid it’s just me tomorrow. Not sure about the weather but how’s about Fewston Heritage Centre unless the weather is bad in which case something shorter, maybe Benningborough. Led by Richard
